Let Texans Decide On the Move: East Texas

Over the past several weeks, Let Texans Decide spokesman, John Montford, has been busy meeting with chambers of commerce, grassroots activists, business leaders, and local elected officials across Texas.  The response from these groups and individuals has been enormously positive.  We are starting to generate news and support to show our state legislators that Texans are excited about this issue and ready to see it on the ballot.

As Mr. Montford said at a stop this week in Marshall, “We’re not asking members of the legislature to say ‘Are you pro-gaming or anti-gaming?’ We’re just going to ask them to let the people of Texas have a vote on the issue. Let the people of Texas decide.”

We are very pleased and thankful with the support we have gathered.  Our Facebook page has nearly 2,000 likes and over 3,000 people have signed the online petition!  Your support is necessary to show the Texas legislature that Texans are serious about their right to vote, and now is the time to put gaming on the ballot. We ask that you continue to share our messaging with your networks and support letting Texans vote on gaming.
