There’s more game room crime popping up in unregulated game rooms in Texas. This time, a Northwest Dallas game room’s discrete location was revealed to police after an 8-liner game room operator pulled a gun on one of his patrons. The patron was playing slots and went to collect his winnings but was told the machine wasn’t working properly, then told to get out at gunpoint. This serves as more evidence that unregulated, illegal game rooms across Texas are increasing crime and violence in the state. With an estimated 200 unregulated game rooms in Houston alone, the problem will only get worse.
